If you ask me, I’d say I’ve always been drawn to art, And yes I did choose to open with a dad joke. You'rewelcome.
I would also however, place myself in the 'emerging artist' bucket, as it was later in life before I really started pursuing my passion for fine art.
I began my career in animation and design before transitioning to the marketing segment. I spent some time in the corporate world, but it didn't take long to realize that wasn't for me. With three young children, my wife and I decided that she would continue her corporate career, and I would pursue my art, while also assuming the stay-at-home-dad role... I mean, how hard could it be?? Let me put it this way – between the endless loads of laundry, Uber-Dad trips and of course, my arch nemesis - DINNER, there was little time left to dedicate to my trade. BUT... I will say, those were some of the best years of my life and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
I find the beauty in art through its proclivity of showcasing the unexpected. Our daily routines create predictability. However, with art, we expect the unexpected. We hope to be surprised. We celebrate the broken rules. Collecting art is not a spectator sport. We’re meant to engage, feel, and question each piece that speaks to us. And I certainly hope this holds true with my artwork, for you.
Enjoy the experience!
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
It’s probably no surprise that much of my inspiration comes from my family; often the muses for my work. It’s always been important to me that we intentionally live life as a family, and if I’m lucky enough to catch a candid photo now and then, I’ll turn that into my own creation. Translating my sketches to oil or charcoal allows me not only to pay tribute to the masters, but also learn from today’s greats who continue to inspire and motivate me every day.
Whether I’m working with oil or charcoal, I am consumed with the process of rendering the three-dimensional form on a two-dimensional surface. Of course, all of this begins with strong drawing skills. I wholeheartedly believe in continuously developing and refining my drawing skills as this is the core foundation to achieving excellence. I strive for daily sketching and trust that consistent practice and dedication will help me achieve my personal goals and ultimately reach new bounds.

As an artist and small business owner, I stand by my product and am committed to ensuring your customer experience is nothing short of stellar.
My expertise is in creating artwork. I am NOT an expert in converting my art into high quality prints or calendars, nor am I an expert in shipping & handling. To ensure I keep my first commitment to you, (remember that whole stellar experience goal), I've partnered with an (amazing) expert who can handle that part for you - Bay Photo Lab.
Bottom line: We follow Bay Photo Lab's Returns & Exchanges policy, which I've included in my FAQ page.
Of course, if there is ever an issue with the artwork you've ordered, we'll do our very best to quickly make it right. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can help.
